Where can antiperspirants be used?
Antiperspirants can generally be used on any area of the skin. Sweating can also be targeted at several areas at the same time. The excess sweat evaporates unnoticed on other areas of the skin and is partly excreted via the kidneys. However, antiperspirants cannot be used in the case of a generalized overactive sweat gland, i.e. heavy sweating all over the body.
To avoid compensatory sweating, antiperspirants should not be used on more than three areas of the skin at the same time. Various antiperspirants in different strengths are available to combat sweat and odor on different areas of the skin.
